It all started in 2014 when Tyler and Maci's high schools played each other in a tournament game. From there, they messaged back and forth on social media with intentions to meet but Maci would play “hard to get", as Tyler puts it. Maci then went off to college and Tyler into the workforce, though they still kept in touch. Then, 4 years later, Maci moved home and the stars finally aligned. Tyler and Maci finally decided to give things a shot and have been inseparable ever since. It's true when they say "when you know, you know". ♡

Tyler and Maci got engaged in the most perfect and intimate way. While Maci was off visiting her family, Tyler was setting his plan into motion. Then, as Maci was on her way home, Tyler bought 10 dozen roses and sprinkled their petals from the door to the living room and filled it with candles. Maci walked in to their favorite song playing and followed the path of petals to Tyler, who was standing there eagerly awaiting her arrival. After the sweetest speech, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Maci to marry him!
