When is the RSVP deadline?

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Children are invited to the wedding. They will be listed on the invitation and you will be able to RSVP for them through the website in the RSVP tab above.

What will kids be eating at the wedding?

Answer

The venue has chicken tenders and fries for dinner for children 12 and under.

Are the ceremony & reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! You can see the schedule under the "Schedule" tab at the top. Both are at the Glen Sanders Mansion (1 Glen Ave, Scotia, NY 12302). The ceremony is outside and the cocktail hour/reception are inside.

How do I find the ceremony location?

Answer

Once you arrive at the Glen Sanders Mansion, walk in through the lobby and the staff members will guide you out back to the pergola. There is a patio and a large stone staircase. You will see the chairs set up at the bottom of the staircase. If you get lost, follow the music.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 so we recommend arriving any time between 4 and 4:20 to make sure you are settled before the ceremony starts.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and the cocktail hour/reception will be inside. Please avoid shades of blue and white - the bride and wedding party will be wearing these colors. Feel free to wear fun summery colors!

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! August is horse racing season in Saratoga, so hotels book up fast. We have blocked off many rooms at hotels in the surrounding area at a discounted rate for Aug 19th - 21st (2 nights). Please see the Hotel Blocks & Travel tab at the top to book your rooms! If you decide to stay additional nights we recommend booking your rooms as soon as possible since hotels sell out months in advance of the Summer.

Will there be hotel shuttles?

Answer

All the hotels are very close to the Mansion and we have many room blocks at various hotels, so there will not be a shuttle service. The Mansion has plenty of parking and we are the only event that day, so parking won't be a problem! For those who would prefer not to drive, there are ubers, lyfts, and taxis in the area as well!

Are there Airbnbs or VRBOs in the area?

Answer

Yes! They also fill up fast, like hotels, due to racing season - so make sure to book your travel soon!

Are You Registered?

Answer

Yes, we have registries at Pottery Barn/West Elm/Williams Sonoma, Amazon, Target, and Crate & Barrel. See the registry tab at the top for details.

What is the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We are asking the guests please RSVP through this website (see RSVP tab at the top and additional details on your invitation). If you have questions please feel free to reach out!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We encourage everyone to only attend if you are feeling healthy and have been for the past couple weeks. If you're feeling under the weather, please send well wishes from afar. We will miss you and hope you feel better soon! We also encourage everyone to be vaccinated and practice proper hygiene and courtesy of others' space.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity limitations, we cannot accommodate any plus ones unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Will there be a brunch following the wedding Monday morning?

Answer

There will not be a formal brunch Monday morning, but we'd love for you to join us for breakfast before heading home. The location is TBD.
