Josh is a longtime friend of both the bride and the groom, having gone to middle and high school with Baird and having met Emily in their mutual year spent at Ithaca College. Josh was the one who initially introduced Baird and Emily to each other, and he is very happy to have seen their relationship grow and thrive over all these years. Josh is a Waterford native and plans to move back to the area soon, where he will be happy to spend more time with his friends Baird and Emily.

Nikki Byrne

Maid of Honor

Nikki met the bride on the bus to Elementary School. They became fast friends in High School, where they bonded over a shared love for their teachers, folk music, and Olan Rogers. Emily quickly introduced Nikki to Baird soon after meeting him herself and Nikki and Baird became good friends. Nikki attempted to gently encourage their relationship and has since watched them grow and flourish both individually and as couple. Baird, Emily and Nikki have shared many an adventure and stuck by each other through college, grad school, new jobs, and now marriage. Nikki is proud to call Emily and Baird her friends, wishes them all the love and happiness in the world, and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them.
