Brittany and Benjamin had their first date at La Follia, a quaint wine bar tucked into the picturesque neighborhood of Gramercy in New York City. They both claim to have spotted one another first, and after a few glasses of Côtes du Rhône, the night ended with a stroll around Gramercy Park. Some of their early dates included a weekend with friends in the Hamptons, drinks and dinners out in NYC (some of which remain their favorite spots today), and wine tasting in the North Fork, Long Island.

A weekend getaway to Saint Martin turned into an unforgettable celebratory trip for Brittany and Benjamin. On the second day of their trip, Benjamin proposed to Brittany while watching the sun set from their beachside villa at The Belmond La Samanna. A bottle of champagne appeared, Benjamin sneakily placed the ring inside an empty champagne glass, got down on one knee, and Brittany said "of course!". The couple had a fantastic weekend celebrating, just the two of them, with long beach days in the sun, delicious meals in the town of Saint Martin, and endless champagne. But the surprise didn't end there! Upon arrival back in NYC, Benjamin was insistent on going out for a special, albeit secret, dinner. The couple ended up at one of their neighborhood favorites, Da Mikele in Tribeca, and walked into a surprise engagement party, where both of their families (visiting from CT, DC, and SC) and close friends celebrated over an Italian family style dinner. The weekend was an absolute dream.
