The best way to get to Cape May from Philly or the surrounding suburbs is by car. It's a quick 1 hour 45 minute drive without traffic!

From NYC

From New York, the best way to get here is by car. It is about 3 hours straight down the Garden State Parkway. For the car-averse city-goers, you could also take a bus or Amtrak to Philadelphia. From there, you could take the bus to Cape May, though it is quite long.

Bus from Philadelphia to Cape May

There is a New Jersey Transit bus that leaves from Philadelphia 30th Street Station and arrives at the Cape May Welcome Center on Lafayette Street. It takes 4 hours.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

If you need to fly, the Philly airport is your best bet. From there, it is just under a 2-hour drive to Cape May. You can rent a car at the airport, or catch a ride with one of the many guests headed Southbound!

Atlantic City International Airport (ACY)

Atlantic City also offers a small airport with a few different flight options that might be worth checking out. It's a 50-minute drive to Cape May.
