We're getting married!

We met in 2021 as CIT's at our church camp. Ironically, we both had been to the same camp since we were very young but never had the pleasure of being introduced. After four and a half days working with junior high kids, we continued into our own camp where we picked up daily games of kemps with our friends. We never failed to be each others partners during these games. Luke thought Ava was kinda cute while Ava thought Luke was kinda weird.

It was their 2 year anniversary and they decided to go on a fancy lil date. They went to a nice restaurant all dressed up as Their first stop. The second stop was Ava's dorm building. Ava was going to change into comfortable clothes while Luke waited in the lobby for her. When Ava entered her dorm room, there was only warm lighting from the fairy lights strung around the room. A vase of flowers, a letter, and a gift waited in the middle of the floor. The letter contained 12 more letters that Luke had written Ava since the start of school that she had collected. The beginning letter of each letter had been cut out. Inside the gift was a picture frame with all the cut out letter spelling out, "will you marry me?" After a second, a knock came on Ava's door. Luke was dropped to one knee with a ring in his hands when the door opened.
