We met as neighbors in 2018 and easily became great friends. We would exchange hello's and end up talking for hours about anything and everything. In 2020 we both moved and lost touch for several months until Jack reached out to ask how life was going after which flirting started and never stopped.

We went on a little vacation to Pigeon Forge in November of 2022 where we had an absolute blast sightseeing and eating delicious food! On the last full day of the trip Jack had tried planning a spa day at the resort which didn't go as planned but he persisted and found a hidden gem in the mountains and booked a couples massage for the two of us. After a relaxing start to the day , we decided we needed some adrenaline so we bought a couple of tickets for a mountain coaster before heading to Gatlinburg for dinner. First stop in Gatlinburg was the Sky Bridge which was decorated in Christmas lights for the holiday season. While riding the sky lift to reach the top of the mountain Jack was shaking immensely which he said was due to the below freezing temperature but was actually from how nervous he was. Once at the top we took the "scenic" route to the other side of the bridge which was filled with complaints from wearing heeled boots and being cold. Once we started our trip across the lighted bridge a random couple asked for us to take their photo in exchange for them taking ours. Once it was our turn for the photo Jack reached for his pocket, bent down on one knee, and explained how much he loved me while I balled me eyes out the entire time. I said yes of course, although I scared him because I said "no you're not" as he bent down and then stayed quiet for a few moments after he popped the question because I was still crying. Then we went to dinner and came home the next day to a surprise engagement party with our friends and family.
