There are many different places in Austria that we absolutely love: 

Salzkammergut : The hometown region of Katas Mom.  Kata spent a lot of time here as a child and has visited here with Mike as well. This region hosts breathtaking mountains, crystal clear lakes and so many things to explore, hike and visit the beauty of Austria. Don't forget to visit Mondsee's cathedral that was featured in 'Sound of Music' 

Vienna: Katas favorite city in the world. An international, modern city with lots of history - a must see! No matter if you like music, theater, history, nature, food, modern art - you will find it all! Some highlights include Naschmarkt, Donauinsel, Hundertwasserhaus, the first district but also Kahlenberg just outside of the city. Katas favorite restaurant is "Gasthof Schosztarich" in the second district. Make sure to take a selfie in front of Katas old apartment in Franzenbrueckenstrasse 3 - right next to it!
