I think the details of this story depend on who you ask, but for me (Moriah) it started in January 2021. There was a new coach at the gym who seemed pretty cute and had great taste in music. I didn't think about this "cute coach" as being anything more than that because I was at the gym to workout, not get a date (or so I thought). Around March, I started to notice Coach Boone was talking to me a little more and playing my favorite music in class, but I didn't want to read too much into that and make things awkward. Then he started texting me, and we soon began talking about more than just the gym. I very quickly saw Austin's deep love for God, loyalty to family, and kindness towards others.

Austin and I went out to dinner with his family. As we left, Austin mentioned he needed to swing by work and grab his computer. We pulled up to the gym, and I was just expecting it to be a quick stop. When we walked inside, I immediately saw "Marry Me" in big wooden letters along with candles and rose petals on the floor. Austin got on one knee and asked the big question! This was such a special moment because the gym has been a central place in our relationship. It's where we met, established our friendship, and watched that grow into something more. This is where we first said "I love you" and where we have grown closer over many evenings of folding towels and setting up equipment for the next day's classes. One special detail is that as Austin proposed, the song "Same God" by Elevation Worship was playing. He chose this song because it reminds us that God's goodness and faithfulness are the same through any season of life: singleness, engagement, and marriage. This will also be our first dance song!
