Yes, we hope parents will enjoy their well-earned weekend off!
Altitude is approximately 5,500ft in Heber City, UT. The best way to avoid altitude sickness is to drink lots of water a few days leading up to your arrival and while you are here. With altitude comes dry air and intense sun rays, so don’t forget to bring lotion, chapstick, and sunscreen!
The Lodge is located inside a private estate. The security guards are at the gate 6:30AM to 11PM. If you or your ride share (Uber/Lyft) need to enter the Lodge after 11PM, please coordinate with us on how to do this. See the FAQ for shuttle services for more info!

Does a bear shit in the woods? Does a one-legged duck swim in a circle? YES!
Most guests are looking to rent homes locally so we do not have enough interest in hotel bookings. Check out the "Travel" page on our wedding website for accommodations.
Directly through our wedding website!
We have built a beautiful home together, so traditional wedding gifts are not necessary. Therefore, we will not have an official registry. The most important thing to us is making memories and exploring the world. We have a cash registry to contribute to so we can fulfill those dreams. The wedding registry cash funds are submitted through Venmo. If you do not have a Venmo account, we accept Zelle payments (mkurtzweil@live.com) as well as checks/cash. We will have a card box at the wedding.
We are currently scheduled to end at 11pm, but the party doesn't have to stop there! We have the lodge rented for the weekend and can continue to party through the night!
In the event that changes are made, we will contact you directly via text or email.
Up until the wedding weekend, feel free to text us with any questions. As we get closer to the wedding weekend, please contact one of our parents. If you need their numbers, let us know!
The most important ones to know for your visit: 1. Utah’s blood alcohol content limit is 0.05 percent, marking the strictest DUI law in the country. 2. Driver's licenses are required to purchase alcohol, whether in a liquor store, restaurant, or bar. 3. Liquor, wine, and beer are available at licensed restaurants and bars seven days a week. Alcoholic beverage service in a licensed restaurant requires that food be ordered with your drink, and that it be delivered by an authorized employee. Beer may be also purchased in establishments that have a "beer only" type license. These include taverns, beer bars, some restaurants or cafes, snack bars, etc. Beer service in a tavern or bar does not require that you order food. 4. All packaged liquor, wine, and heavy beer (more than 5% ABV) must be purchased from a Utah state liquor store. Beer and similar products like hard seltzers may be purchased at most grocery and convenience stores in Utah. Wine is not available in grocery stores and can only be bought at authorized state stores. 5. Minors are allowed at restaurants, but they are not allowed at bars or taverns.
