We met in September 2018. On our first date we talked for hours. By our second date we both knew we had a deep connection and started exclusively seeing each other after that. We had been together 4 years before Austin proposed but we both admitted we knew each other was the "one" within a couple months of dating. Within the past 4 years, we have had many adventures and experiences together. Banff holds a special place in our hearts because this was our first trip together and is one of the most beautiful places we have traveled to. To have our wedding in Banff is truly a dream come true!

We were on vacation in Maui, Hawaii. At the beginning of the trip, Austin had planned a dinner at a nice restaurant. On our way to dinner, Austin asked if we could stop by a beautiful beach near the restaurant called Iron Beach. While walking on the beach, Austin got on one knee and proposed. Austin had hired a photographer who was hiding behind bushes and captured the whole thing! We spent the rest of the vacation celebrating our engagement. It will forever be one of our most memorable trips together.
