Life’s a Gamble, and so are we!

In the summer of 2017, Austin and Coleen met on a dating app called Tinder. Coleen had no idea that when she put "You better be funny" on her profile bio that she would meet the silliest, funniest, and most caring guy ever. Austin messaged Coleen and said, "Would you rather have 43 duck-sized giraffes or 1 giraffe-sized duck?" Coleen burst out laughing because she had never heard anyone say something like that before. Austin's sense of humor caught her attention. Obviously, Coleen picked a giraffe-sized duck because how funny would it be to have a massive duck walking around the streets and the freeway? Pretty soon, Austin and Coleen talked every day--sending each other texts and snapchats and cracking jokes left and right. The first time they ever Facetimed, they talked all night and fell asleep on the phone. They never ran out of things to say. Since then, Austin and Coleen have gone on countless dates and adventures: concerts, LA trips, movies, shopping, hiking, beach days, boat days, snowboarding, and eating out. They've shared many laughs and plenty of tears (mostly Coleen because she's a Pisces). But no matter how challenging life got, Coleen and Austin have been able to grow together and learn how to be there for each other. Whenever they were together, life felt vibrant and full of possibility.
