Ali was born in February of 1999 and grew up in the beautiful small town of Leesburg Ohio with her parents, Debbie and Robert Powers. She attended Fairfield Local High School where she graduated in 2017, and then the University of Dayton where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2019. She works as a Corporate Wellness Manager for SugarCreek Packing Co., the same company her mother has worked at for over 15 years. She’s extremely passionate about her work and helping people understand the health care system, especially non-English speaking associates. She feels a deep sense of purpose in helping people to navigate some of life’s most stressful moments, and is deeply empathetic, caring for everyone around her to the utmost extent. Austin is her perfect match because he values all of these qualities of her heart, and takes care of her, while she’s focused on everyone else.
Austin Gerard

Austin was born in June of 1997 and was raised by his mother, Mandy Pelfrey in Ohio. He grew up with Clinton and Grace, his siblings, in a laughter filled household! Austin graduated from high school at Fairfield Local in 2015, in Leesburg Ohio, where he and Ali first met. Austin is a Paraprofessional who helps children with learning disabilities to navigate school and education. He’s passionate about helping those who are less able to care for or speak up for themselves, and especially for children. He feels his calling is in helping others, and making the world a brighter place. Ali is his perfect match because she sees his kind heart and vulnerability, and supports him in every aspect of life. She helps him to grow just as he does for her.
Sid Wardlow

Sid has known Ali since she started working at Wendy’s in 2016! He’s a funny, lighthearted, and goofy person who is so amusing to be around. To Ali, he’s the brother she never had, and her parents agree! When Austin and Ali started dating, she immediately brought him to “The Sids” house to meet her friends. Austin immediately became a part of their chosen family, and bonded closely with both Sid and Aiden, Sidney’s brother. Austin and Ali visit “The Sids” nearly every weekend and love to play Magic the Gathering together. Sid is the Father of the sweetest little baby Jace, who will be the ring-bearer for the wedding. Sid has been a part of Austin & Ali’s story for so long, it only felt right to ask him to be the Officiant for their Wedding.
Sidney Gillis
Maid of Honor
Sidney and Ali met at Ali’s first job, Wendy’s in Washington Court House, Ohio! They’ve been best friends since Ali was 16, and inseparable ever since. Sidney is the most gentle and kind-hearted person Ali has ever met. She has empathy for everyone, and treats everyone with the utmost love and respect. She’s truly a role model for Ali and inspired her into her career as a Wellness Manager. The two enjoy many nerdy hobbies together like video games and a shared love for Harry Potter! They spend nearly every weekend together playing card games and visiting! Sidney is the Fiancée of Sid, our Officiant! She is the mother of a beautiful baby boy named Jace, who will be our ring bearer.
Clinton Pelfrey
Best Man
Austin has known Clinton for 19 years. That is because they are brothers. They met each other at the hospital the day Clinton was born. They are a mischievous duo. But also one of the nastiest teams you will ever see! When they are put in a team setting there is nothing that can stop them. From video games to Magic the Gathering they have a ton of similar ideas and enjoyments. Cooking is a frequent and fun past time for the two when presented with the chance to do so together.
Garrett Copsey
Man of Honor
Garrett and Austin have known each other for a whopping 12 years! They met one another in the wild at Ceaser's Creek Flea Market near Wilmington, OH at a small TCG Store. Austin claims Garrett definitely cheated in their Yugioh match with a banned card in this same shop! Garrett wasn't quite sure about Austin at first, thinking he was quite loud. Those thoughts quickly turned into laughter and the two grew into brotherhood quickly. Rather it's grinding video games together or Austin talking Garrett into another group of antics. Thier friendship has truly stood the test of time.
Grace Pelfrey

Grace is the sister of Austin, and soon to be Ali’s sister in law! Grace and Ali share a special bond, as Ali didn’t grow up with siblings, she immediately was excited to gain a little sister. Grace is a powerful young woman in her Senior Year of high school in Washington Court House. Ali drove Grace in an 1960 Buick Invicta was Grace was nominated for homecoming court in 2022, and Grace looked like royalty! Grace and Ali love to gossip together, and tell stories about young Austin and the family. Grace loves to cook and bake, and even helped Ali to decorate cookies for Sidney’s baby shower! She’s truly an incredible young woman, and Ali is so excited to gain her as a sister.
Kathleen Kroeger
Bridesmaid
Kathleen and Ali met at Ali’s internship with SugarCreek in April of 2019. Kathleen is the sweetest person, and helped Ali adjust to corporate life and office work. She’s sat right behind Ali for 4 years now, and she’s the angel who sits in Ali’s shoulder to allow her to vent and have a place of calm. Kathleen has an overwhelming aura of peace and kindness that cannot be understated. Kathleen and Ali enjoy many margaritas after work or mimosas over brunch! Kathleen is such an important person in Ali’s life, and the dearest of friends she could ask for.
Kaitlyn Holder

Kate and Ali met through their partners a little over two years ago. Through time, and many Magic and DnD sessions, the two grew closer over their shared passions and similar outlooks on life. Their favorite activity is whispering and making jokes at the expense of “the boys” (the entire groomsman party) and their shared love of the ACOTAR series. Kate is the kind and generous friend Ali has always needed, and is so grateful for her friendship.
Jaden Blanton
Groomsman
Austin and Jaden have known each other since the ages of 5 & 6. They are lifelong friends who have shared countless adventure and journeys together. They had met at a mutual neighborhood kids house in Lebanon, OH and the rest was history. They share a plethora of hobbies and similar interests. Being able to talk with Jaden endlessly about everything “literally” forever believed by Austin to be his “platonic” soulmate. They spend most of their time bickering with one another over any and all details. Austin usually coming out on top as he is so witty.
