The entire event- ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing- will be held outdoors on a large, grassy area overlooking the ocean. No need to plan for a sandy beach, but please consider the grass lawn when choosing your footwear! We will have heaters set up and will rent a large tent for the reception area if there is rain in the forecast.
Weather on the Southern Oregon Coast can be variable but is generally mild in the summetime. The ten-day forecast currently shows Saturday as sunny with some clouds and a high of 64, low of 52. Please bring a jacket!
Plugging the venue's address- 23368 Mack Arch Road, Gold Beach, OR 97444- into your navigation system should route you properly (just the venue name may not work.) You will be turning onto the venue's road right from Highway 101, so keep your eyes peeled when you start getting close! We are planning to set up a banner highlighting the turn so it's easier to see. There is a large parking area adjacent to the main lawn where the event will be held.
Please plan to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm to ensure you have time to find the venue, park, and get seated before the ceremony starts at 4pm.
Yes, we have arranged a shuttle service between Gold Beach and the venue. Chrissy, the bus driver, will be picking up interested guests at Pacific Reef Hotel in Gold Beach at 3:15pm on Saturday. The Best Western SureStay and the Gold Beach Inn are right next door to Pacific Reef. Please plan to arrive at the parking lot on time as the shuttle will be leaving promptly at 3:15! The shuttle is scheduled to take two return trips after the reception with the first leaving the venue at 9:30pm and the second at 10:30pm. Please meet in the parking lot of the venue to catch your ride home. Tips are appreciated!
There may be a few, but not many since this is a small coastal community. Cell reception in the area can also be spotty and depends on your service carrier so please plan ahead to get home safely.
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, sundresses, dressy jumpsuits, collared shirts, jackets, and slacks. Please bring a jacket as the ceremony and reception will both take place outside and the coastline can get chilly!
