The best is yet to come!

Allison and Austen met as freshmen in college at the Kansas City Art Institute. After a casual introduction while "breaking the ice" with several other soon-to-be mutual friends, they both admit to having had a gut feeling that it would eventually lead to something bigger. One lucky night when those same mutual friends got back together, Allison and Austen were able to share each other's company once again. After just one night of talking, it became clear that they were onto something good. Fast-forward a quick and exciting 10 years later, and Austen and Allison are eager and overjoyed to finally get to say "I Do"!

Following a 4 hour traditional Tuscan lunch while traveling abroad last summer, Austen got down on one knee in a stunning private garden overlooking the remote hills of Arquà Petrarca in northeastern Italy! To Allison's surprise, Austen and their friend Justin had planned a special meal in secrecy, and Austen had been nervously carrying the ring (and box) in his pocket all day! After a full day of surprises, happy tears, and phone calls to family and friends, they carried on with their two week vacation on cloud nine, blissfully plotting what the future would hold.
