Bride
Aurora is our lovely bride. She is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University with a bachelors degree in early childhood education. She coaches the Joplin High School color guard and winter guard. She loves all things books and coffee and of course her soon to be husband!
Maid of Honor
Aurora and Marissa have known each other since the 3rd grade when they were placed in the same class together at Mark Twain Elementary. Throughout the years these two have become inseparable and formed a bond akin to that of sisters. Marissa was asked to be Aurora’s Maid of Honor which she graciously accepted!
Bridesmaid
Rylee and Aurora had a bumpy start to their friendship, as any third graders do they bumped heads over Miss Marissa as they both wanted her undivided attention. However, over the years the two slowly warmed up to each other and could safely say that they soon became best friends in the seventh grade. As high school passed their friendship grew stronger and Rylee, Marissa, and Aurora became an inseparable trio. Rylee was asked to be a bridesmaid in Aurora’s wedding and she happily agreed!
Bridesmaid
Abby is Aurora’s younger sister. The two have known each other since Abby was born and a bond has formed between the sisters, one of caring, understanding and love for each other. Abby’s affection and love may not always be apparent to those who don’t know her but to those she does love she loves them fiercely. Abby was asked to be a bridesmaid after a late night talk with the family, Aurora had gone and laid next to Abby in her room and asked her to be a part of her wedding day!
Groom
Spencer is the groom. He graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor of Sciences in History with a minor in music and a certificate in ensemble performance. He is also forklift certified. Spencer started going by his middle name, Levi when he started college, so don't be too confused when you hear this name. His favorite hobbies include playing any of his many instruments, going to the gym, and shooting his many guns. He has many collections, such as Zippo lighters, pins, and bottlecaps. He loves food and frogs but loves his soon-to-be wife even more.
Best Man
Sam is Spencer's oldest best friend. They have known each other for over 10 years and have been brothers for the entire time. Sam helped encourage Spencer to learn several instruments. He also inspired Spencer to strengthen his faith in God, taking him to church any chance he got. Before Cane's opened in Joplin, Sam and Spencer would drive to Rogers for their favorite chicken. They also spent many nights rewatching their favorite movies, Anchorman and Anchorman 2. Sam graduated from Ozark Christian College with a Bachelor’s in Music and Worship. Sam is also the Music Director for Christ's Church of Oronogo and continues to further the word of God through his actions and music.
Groomsman
Patrick is one of Spencer's closest friends. He is working towards a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems at MSSU. Patrick likes to shoot guns and watch baseball. His favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals. He is sometimes referred to as "Spencer's boyfriend" by Aurora. The two met on the MSSU Drumline during their freshman year of college. During rehearsals, the two friends spent more time acting fools than rehearsing. After Patrick came to work at Academy, they only became better friends. They maintained the same behavior they had in rehearsals at work. Even though Spencer was promoted to his team lead, they are still great friends and make time to hang out when possible.
Groomsman
Trenton is Spencer's older brother. He graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Music Education. He once got in trouble at work for teaching a homeschool children's program about evolution. His favorite animal is the opossum and his least favorite is the frog. While they did not always get along (just like all other siblings), they grew out of their rivalry and became very close friends. Trenton encouraged Spencer to join Webb City Singers and band. There, Spencer discovered his love for music. After Trenton moved out to go to college, there was a distinct difference and a sense of "dull" to home life. Trenton brightens any room he walks into and is able to make even the most serious of people laugh. No matter how successful Spencer becomes, he will always look up to his older brother as a role model.
