We're getting married!!!

We met at a friend's birthday party. Although we only talked for a little bit that night, we both really enjoyed the other's company. A few days later, Chad asked our friend for my phone number and then we texted non stop. We became fast friends and a few weeks later he asked me out on a date. We went to Long Beach to look at the Christmas lights in Naples. As we were walking along, Chad said his hands were cold even in his jacket pockets, and me being clueless, I was thinking ok then put your gloves on. But after a few more steps he reached out, grabbed my hand and said "there that's much better". We held hands for the rest of the night with butterfly's in our tummies and we were both hooked.

So we had talked about going on a short trip to Seattle in October and we were both so excited. But as it got closer Chad told me we couldn't go. A few days later, as a surprise gift, Chad got me a Seattle skyline puzzle, so I opened it up to start working on and inside was some paper that said "a trip you will never forget". I unfolded the paper and it was the flight itinerary for our trip to Seattle! After getting there, our first stop was Snoqualamie Falls. We walked around and enjoyed the beauty of the big waterfall. We then took the hike down towards the bottom where you can walk closer to the waterfall (sadly it was closed for repairs) but we stopped on the way down to admire the trees and scenery. I looked up into the canopy and as we were standing there a single leaf from one of the trees above us started falling down and I said to Chad "OMG a leaf is falling right towards us! If I catch it that's got to be good luck right?!" And he replied with "I sure think so" and that leaf swirled down right into my hands and I said "OMG yay I caught it!!!!" I turned back around to Chad and he held his hand out with the ring in it and said "Can I catch you now?" And he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!
