We're getting married!

Our story begins back in 2013 at the University of Florida at a Halloween party where our individual friend groups just happened to bump into each other and get along. Tony was nicknamed "Scrubs" by Audrey and her friends that night as he had arrived after his EMT work shift, and figured scrubs would do for his costume. Throughout college, we remained close friends and attended many Greek functions together. Audrey asked Tony if he would be her date to her senior year sorority formal and he gladly said "yes"! We had a blast. But then, it was time for Audrey to head off to California for vet school and start a new chapter. Tony continued on in Gainesville, FL, pursuing his professional interests in the medical field. Audrey and Tony kept in touch every few months, rooting on the Gators and catching up on life's new adventures. Eventually this culminated in Audrey reaching out to Tony during a Gators football game in 2018, where they finally planned a Lake Tahoe ski trip just 2 hours away from Audrey's school in California. Neither of us had any idea how this trip would go; we hadn't seen each other for 3 years! Fortunate for us, this was a "snowmageddon" weekend and the usual 2-hour drive to Tahoe took closer to 10 hours. Needless to say, we had plenty of time to catch up together on that car ride. We had a lovely weekend in a winter wonderland, but it left us both wondering--now what? We kept in touch daily after the trip, and Tony decided it was time to ask Audrey if she would be up for a long-distance relationship. He had pristine timing--just before she entered into her busiest (clinical) year of vet school! Knowing the commitment and patience that was going to be required for both parties--she said yes! Throughout the next year we planned trips every few months to see each other and spend some much needed time together. We went to Zion National Park for a "glamping" trip, Outsidelands Music Festival in San Francisco, San Diego, and also Colorado Springs--where Tony made his new home in April 2019. After graduating in May 2020, Audrey moved out to Colorado Springs where we moved in together in a cute little home. Finally--we were living a normal life as a couple and loving every minute of it. Handling everything life threw at us together, everything just felt right. Tony planned a nice dinner and overnight stay at the local Garden of the Gods country club for Audrey's birthday in 2023--little did she know he also decided to pop the big question that night as well! Of course the rest is history. We are still living in (and loving) Colorado Springs, and together we have Gator (the husky/German shepherd mix) and Frank (our kitty). Tony currently works as a consultant for spinal medical devices and works primarily at a trauma hospital. Audrey works at a mixed urgent care/general practice veterinary hospital. We are so excited to spend our big day of celebration with you!
