After moving back home, Audrey went to a New Years Eve party in 2019 in her hometown to familiar faces when she spotted Blake who she never met before. Her interest sparked just like the fireworks; through a mutual friend and a few drinks later they talked the night away and hit it off instantly. Blake at the time worked out of town a lot while Audrey worked close to home. They spent hours texting and talking on the phone getting to know one another. Blake made it official on a romantic evening dinner on Valentine’s Day in 2019. Once they became official the two started new jobs, spending quality time together, enjoying vacations together and relaxed on the weekends occasionally with family and friends at the beach house in Sargent! Their love grew stronger each and everyday and in April 2021 they took a leap of faith in one another and bought their first home in West Columbia. Throughout the years they turned their house into a home and made it their own. Countless friends and memories have been shared and many more to come. On Labor Day weekend Audrey and Blake were gathered with family and friends spending quality time together over a long weekend in Sargent. Little did Audrey know Blake was planning something special for her all along. On September 3, 2022, Blake got down on one knee and asked Audrey to marry him for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health and till death do they part. Audrey without hesitation instantly said YES!
