Edwidge saw Amber on a mutual friend’s Instagram page and his interest in her peaked. The pandemic hit and this mutual friend saw that Edwidge liked one of her photos. She asked Edwidge, “How do you know Amber?” Edwidge replied, “I don’t know her but I’d like to.” She asked Amber if she was single and told her she had someone she wanted to introduce her to. Amber inquired about his character and qualities and they had their first phone call on July 20th, 2020 one day before Amber’s birthday.

Amber, Edwidge family and friends alike were in Rivera De Maya, Mexico celebrating Amber’s 40th Birthday. At Amber’s pre planned pink and blush themed (Amber’s favorite colors) group dinner Edwidge stood before loved ones and professed his love for Amber through a heartfelt monologue and asked Amber’s hand in marriage.
