Ballantrae, Scotland. Driving directions: Arriving from the North, the castle is one and a half hours south of Glasgow by car taking the A77, and two and a half hours South West of Edinburgh taking the M8 then the A726 then the A77. Once you reach Ballantrae on the A77 take the first road on the right after you cross the bridge over the river Stinchar on the way out of the village, and then follow the country road until you reach the castle gates. Yes! We will have busses running to and from Turnberry and Woodland Bay hotels for all events. On our wedding day the busses will take you from your hotel to the church and then to Glenapp. Transportation will be taken care of unless you'd like to do some sightseeing on your own.
