Question

Is There a Dresscode?

Answer

Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us! Formal wear or Black-Tie Optional is requested. This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie are acceptable. For women, the outfit choices remain the same: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Please no jeans, sneakers or flip flops! We also request that no guest arrive in the color reserved for the bride: white, cream or ivory. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be held outside.

Question

If I'm traveling what dates should I stay?

Answer

We ask that you fly in on Thursday, August 29th. You can leave on Saturday or stay to celebrate with us one more night on Saturday night.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with anyone and everyone. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. You will know if a plus one was given to you. Thanks for understanding.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help with planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by July 15, 2024. However, the earlier the better!! If we don't recieve your RSVP by the date given, we will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

If you know us, yes there will be a bar. However, no open bar. Drinks will be $4 CAD and sold in tickets. We will have 2 bartenders and 2 bars! The bride and groom have created signature drinks but there will be select booze behind the bar for you to choose from!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 1 o'clock. Please arrive at 12:30 as it is a bit of a walk from the ceremony site to the actual ceremony! If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will not be allowed into the ceremony. You will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at our cocktail hour and our reception! Thanks for understanding.

Question

What color are the Bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids are wearing whatever color they want! So, don't worry about matching with them! I (Aubrey) have given them free rein to wear what ever they choose!

Question

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, so we can only pray for good weather! The reception will be indoors.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

We will have ushers seating you at the ceremony. The reception will also have a seating chart!
