Christina and Laura met in Mrs.Burtman’s 1st grade class at Pinehurst Elementary. Over the years, they enjoyed dancing the Macarena and playing flute together in marching band. Dillon and Colton have known each other since 1995. Dillon quickly rose to assume the role of “big little brother.” He has been in this role ever since, still towering over Colton to this day. Although Dillon can easily overpower him, Colton has been a loving and supportive brother for the past 29 years. Enough to be the best man, at least. Christina and Sarah first became friends in 9th grade when they started riding the same bus to school - even though they grew up only 2 blocks from each other! They have been friends ever since and even lived together for a year and a half in their first apartment after college! Dillon and Mark have known one another since the 2nd grade while on a road trip to Knoxville. They swiftly bonded over their love of sports and the fact that were cooler than their older brothers. Christina and Liana have known each other since elementary school but their friendship really took off in 9th grade. They have been friends ever since and even roomed together during their freshman year at UMD. Brian is Dillon’s oldest friend. They have known each other since Dillon was 3 years old. They grew up 3 houses down from one another and have been friends ever since. Christina and Grace have been friends since birth since their moms grew up together and decided to have kids at the same time. They grew up playing barbies and faking being asleep so their parents would let them have unplanned sleepovers. Their friendship has carried on ever since! Dillon and Ian have known each other since Dillon and Christina started dating in 2019. They quickly bonded over being the only tall ones at Atchison family functions. Dillon’s favorite thing to do with Ian is go to the bar at night during family vacations while Christina and their parents sleep. Dillon and Kory first became friends in the 4th grade in the art room of Wicomico High School while waiting for the bus to take them to North Salisbury Elementary. They quickly bonded over their love of the video game FIFA Street. They have been friends ever since and still are a dynamic duo on the soccer field to this day. Christina and Molly first met at Thanksgiving in 2019 - the year Dillon and Christina started dating. They’ve enjoyed being the surrogate daughters in the Shaheen family after they endured many years with only sons. Dillon and Christina first met Alice when she was 1 month old. Now Alice is almost 3 years old and she loves when Uncle Dill and Aunt Tina come to visit her in Rochester. She especially loves when they read her bedtime stories. She’s currently looking forward to becoming a big sister. Fun Fact: Her 3rd birthday is the day before our wedding!
