Atlanta, GA When we first met, Sami had just started a job across the country in Atlanta and it just so happened Matt worked in that very same office after moving from Illinois. The same week she started at her new job, it was announced Matt was being sent to Grand Rapids, MI for the Summer that Friday. There was an instant spark between the two of us, even though we had just met. Over the course of the next six months of Matt flying back to Atlanta and going on countless dates, we knew this could be something. After that there was no distance or obstacle that stood a chance at keeping us apart.

Charleston, SC After just short of a year of living together, Matt planned a romantic trip to one of our very favorite places, Charleston, South Carolina. We had visited a few times and fell in love with the historic city three hours south of where we live. The weekend started with an incredible stay at The Vendue hotel, when we arrived to champagne served as we were taken up to our room. One of our favorite parts of Charleston is walking the historic brick paved streets and enjoying all the amazing restaurants the city has to offer. On our way to dinner, we stopped at Pearlz Oyster Bar for a round of some oysters (our favorite). Afterward, as we made our way to dinner we walked by a beautiful setting of flower petals on the ground and bloomed azaleas overhead in a secluded side street. Matt brought Sami down the street to take in the view and got down on one knee. As he proposed a photographer Matt hired captured the moment and took us around the city for an engagement session at sunset. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
