Alexis Cover

Maid of Honor

Alexis is my oldest friend. We've known each other for basically our entire lives and have grown up together through every milestone. She is one of the most caring, kind, and trustworthy people you'll ever meet and even after over 20 years and living across the country, she's always someone I can count on. We started out wearing our matching Winnie the Pooh skorts in kindergarten to now picking out wedding and bridesmaids dresses. I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side as my Maid of Honor.

Nick Cianciara

Best Man

I can only describe Nick as my brother. We grew up together and I wouldn't be the man I am today without knowing Nick. We've partied in Wisconsin, evaded kidnappers in Panama, hiked mountains in LA, and wore matching tuxes to prom together. From joining the wrestling team in high school together (before Nick quit), to both going to college in NC, to moving out to LA, life has always found a way to make sure we don't stray too far from each other's lives. I couldn't be luckier to have a friend like Nick and couldn't have picked a better Best Man.

Jessye Halvorson

Bridesmaid

Jessye is our resident Texan, genius, Bachelor-loving, "tell it like it is" friend. She is one of our closest friends from UNC, before she betrayed us all by choosing Dook University for her Master's program (Go Heels!). There's no one else who could've convinced our entire sophomore year suite to dress up as a herd of cows for Halloween or could've gotten away with wearing a turkey suit on multiple occasions without question. We are so lucky to have Jessye as a friend and to celebrate with us.

Chelsea Brock

Bridesmaid

Chelsea and I have been friends so long, I can't remember ever not knowing her. We've spent so much time together between summer camp at the YMCA, beach trips to Myrtle Beach, and just hanging out at her house. She is a wonderful mom, oncology nurse, and has my favorite southern accent. I am lucky to still call her one of my best friends after all these years and am thankful she agreed to be a bridesmaid even after we (accidentally) left her at an Olive Garden that time.

Kayla Cummins

Bridesmaid

Kayla and I originally met at "camp middle school" in the summer before 6th grade and have been friends ever since. She is one of the most hard-working, smart, and loyal people I know and would do anything to help anyone at a moment's notice. If you have any questions or need advice about finances, fitness, travel RN gigs, or Instagram fame, she's your girl. As one of my oldest friends, I'm so grateful to have her standing with me on my wedding day.

Amanda Gatewood

Bridesmaid

I first met Amanda as Chelsea's cousin when she unexpectedly joined our senior beach week trip after high school graduation in 2012. Little did I know this random person would become one of my best friends. After that trip (and several more after that) to Myrtle Beach, I couldn't imagine my life without her. She is hilarious, fun, honest, and a great dog-mom. Our wedding day would not be nearly as much fun without Amanda there to keep us laughing.

Nicole Riccio

Bridesmaid

From the first time we met, Nicole has welcomed me into the family without question (minus the time I almost ruined her new kitchen knife to cut marshmallows). She has been such a huge help in figuring out all the ins and outs of wedding planning, which is extra appreciated given that she's so busy working full-time and being an undercover business mogul with her online thrifting store. I'm so lucky to have someone so selfless and caring as a friend, a bridesmaid, and, soon, a sister.

Holly Riccio

Bridesmaid

Growing up, I always wanted a sister, and I am so excited now that I will have two! Holly and I can always bond over true crime, annoyance with Mike's stupid jokes, and our mutual appreciation of Captain Olivia Benson. I'm thankful to have found such a smart and compassionate friend in Holly and am so happy to have her as a bridesmaid on our wedding day. If you're looking for any good book recommendations, catch her on her bookstagram!

Pat Hoben

Groomsman

Pat is one of my oldest friends - we've been hanging out before either of us could even hold our own heads up. From holidays and family trips to just hanging out around the neighborhood playing manhunt and basketball, Pat's always been there. Although he never achieved his preschool goal of "becoming a monkey" when he grows up, I'm still proud to have an incredible and loyal friend like Pat standing with me on my wedding day.

Pat Saulino

Groomsman

Pat is one of my oldest friends and the most genuinely nice and dependable person you will ever meet. From preschool (Pat rocked a mean bowl cut) to Thanksgiving dinners, with a lot of High School Musical duets in between, I couldn't imagine getting married without Pat at my side. Pat is on his way to becoming an incredible doctor, but much more interestingly, be sure to ask him about his Hannah Montana Halloween costume.

Walter Kearnan

Groomsman

Growing up, I spent about as much time at Walt's house as I did my own. We've been friends since our rec soccer days, where Walt was the goalie and I mostly sat in the grass. Since then, we've been friends for life, a fact our parents used to their advantage when they took turns loaning us out to each other for yardwork on alternating weekends. Fun fact: Walt was the trumpet player in a Green Day cover band in middle school that to no one's surprise never performed anywhere.

Brian Omastiak

Groomsman

The first time I met Brian was at a corporate training session when we started our careers at Comcast (talk about an exciting origin story!). As the founding (and only current) members of Camp Brian and through multiple spirited performances of "Jack and Diane", we've left our mark on Hollywood. Although we started as coworkers and roommates, Brian's become one of my closest friends, always there for a good conversation and a creamy Coors Light.

Andrew Santanastaso

Groomsman

Andrew may have recently become my brother-in-law, but I consider him my brother-in-arms since he's joined the elite club of men who understand what it's like to live with a Riccio woman. Nicole could not have found a more caring and lovable guy than Andrew, and I'm incredibly lucky to have gained the brother I never had (even if he is from Staten Island).

Tyler Acquaviva

Groomsman

The first time I met Tyler, his mom asked him to shut the gate so the cows in their backyard didn't get out and instead he got on his 4-wheeler and drove into the herd of cows. That pretty much sums up Tyler. Joking aside, Tyler has always welcomed me into the family and treated me like we'd known each other forever. I couldn't be prouder to have him join me as a groomsman on our wedding day.

Tyler Clay

Officiant

When having to choose an officiant, Tyler was the obvious choice. From freshman year suitemates to senior year roommates, Tyler's been there from the very start of our relationship, even joining us on a romantic trip to Paris! As the only person I will ever duet Shania Twain with, he has the distinct honor of also being one of my groomsmen. Don't let the fact that he's in medical school at UNC fool you, this guy knows how to party - just ask him about twerking on strangers at TOPO or our Halloween party where he dressed as his mom!
