For Valentine's Day I took her to the Ice Castles in Midway, Utah. After some sleuthing, I found out she'd never been there but always wanted to go. I planned her a surprise, but she figured it out...

In the summers, we love hiking. This was one of our first summer hikes to the base of Stewart Falls in Utah.

Bryson really wanted to take me on a nice date, but COVID-19 closed pretty much everything. He planned a white tablecloth dinner with takeout, but forgot the drinks...

Bryson really likes sports and got us both student passes to the Gonzaga (2) vs. BYU (18). We were excited to be there for a upset - what a surreal experience.

When I went to Kansas for the first time, our flights required some masks. This was a snapchat I sent to my mom. You can't tell, but Ashlyn still smiled for the camera ;)

Like any college students, we've got plenty of homework to do, but sometimes you just gotta take a selfie.

For Pi day (3/14) we made pie with Ashlyn's roommates and friends. We sampled many pies that day...

For Valentine's Day one of Ashlyn's roommates has a Crème brûlée making tradition. It was a first time for both of us - It's real good!

Some friends offered to take us to Lagoon, an amusement park in Utah. Ashlyn makes a great roller-coaster and log-ride buddy!

When Bryson took me to visit Oregon, he wanted to take me on a hike to Susan Creek falls. It was a beautiful hike and waterfall in great company!

For Easter 2020, Ashlyn and I pretended our friends were young kids and made an Easter egg hunt for them!

To celebrate the Fourth of July, we hiked into the mountains. We made a fire, invited some friends, and roasted hot dogs. After that, we watched all of Utah Valley's fireworks.

My dad asked Ashlyn and me to speak at a youth conference via zoom. We were a bit tired, so we only got nice shirts on - otherwise shorts and sweatshirts were the choice.

My roommates invited Ashlyn and me to go jet skiing one Saturday. that was a great day!

At a dance in Erie KS, Ashlyn and I decided to show off our swing dance abilities. However, we hadn’t practiced in three months. At the end of the song, I wanted to dip her, but instead I dropped her.

We both really like Kansas, so we thought we’d take a gravel road picture!
