Willson and I met through mutual friends. We had been around each other a few times a long time ago. One day I decided that I was going to add him on Snapchat, never thinking anything would come of it. Willson snapped me first and from that first snap we didn’t stop talking. Our first interaction in person was at Jenns Place. I threw a golf tee at him and we kept doing it until we lost it. We had a few other nights at Jenns Place together with some friends before we finally went out on a date alone. Our first date was at Genji (one of our favorite places to go). We were both nervous but it was a great night. Willson and I have been pretty much inseparable since.

Willson planned a family weekend up at his grandparents cabin in the UP. We went to pictured rocks, my first time ever being there. It was absolutely beautiful and definitely something I will never forget. We spent the day on pontoons and hanging out. We stopped at our first beach and hung out. Willson and his cousin went jumping of cliffs and the rest of us were swimming. We then were out on the water and we got the Jell-O shots out. Willson nervously and quickly did three or four of them. He then came over, got down on one knee and asked said “Ashley, will you me to marry me.” Out of nervousness I said yes and handed him my right hand🤦🏻‍♀️😂 As he started to put it on me I said wait that’s the wrong hand. We then went on to enjoy the rest of the day with our families.
