God had been weaving our stories together long before our first date where we discovered something incredible: we were both from the same hometown! As we talked more, it felt like puzzle pieces falling into place. Not only did we share a hometown, but we had also both grown up attending Oak Pointe Church, sitting under the same teachings and walking similar faith journeys. To make it even sweeter, we also both went to the University of Michigan for school. We bonded over shared memories of our time there—football games and tailgates, late-night studying, and all the classic Michigan experiences. Funny enough, when I went to put my number in Seth's phone, we realized he already had my number! So our paths crossed somewhere, we just can't pinpoint where. Fast forward to today, and we’re still discovering more in common. Both of our families have homes in Naples, Florida, where they love soaking up the sunshine. Most importantly, we share a deep love for Jesus, which forms the foundation of our relationship. We often marvel at how God orchestrated our meeting and brought us together in His perfect timing. Our story is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the beauty of finding someone who is not only your best friend, but someone who also shares your faith and admiration for the Lord. Even though we can’t pinpoint that first meeting, we know it’s just another reminder of how God was always at work, preparing our hearts for each other. We are looking forward to a lifetime of memories and can't wait to continue weaving our lives together, with Jesus at the center of it all.

Genesis 2:18-25 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This AT LAST is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
