We met in a classic millennial way, online. When we matched in 2017 I was just leaving to come home for Christmas break and Kyle was staying in Florida. We were able to really talk and get to know each other for about 3 weeks before finally meeting face to face. Thankfully we were able to talk to each other prior to our first date because if you have heard the story you know it was quite literally the worst date ever (who takes somebody to watch a football game after she begged to reschedule it?! I mean come on the Saints were playing and it was the last game before playoffs started). We decided to give it another try though and the second date was much better! We continued to talk and hang out, Kyle driving 30 minutes just to bring me ice cream (obviously what won me over lol). We called it official on January 14, 2017. Later that year we decided to move in together and never looked back. We made our commitments to each other and God that this was it. COVID hit right before moving to Colorado and we went through some struggles but we continued to build back better and stronger. Fast forward its 2022, Thanksgiving and we close on our forever home. December he gets down on one knee and says, "I know it's been a long time coming, but will you marry me?" We can't wait to continue building our family and spreading our love and happiness to those surrounding us. We also want to thank you for being apart of our special day!
