Aly is Ashley’s younger sister by 6 years. The two didn’t always get along as well as they do today, like most sisters growing up. They always shared a room and never really saw eye to eye. Aly was notorious for stealing her sisters clothes and leaving their room a mess, which of course drove young neat-freak Ashley crazy. But Ashley never knew just how much Aly looked up to her and wanted to be just like her. The two have always been different in many ways, but do share some similarities and common ground. They both are obsessed with music and love to sing. Some of their best times together have been spent singing, even with their dad playing along on his guitar. Ashley would do anything for her little sister and is beyond happy to have her stand by her side as MOH on her wedding day.
Tim Shaw
Best Man
Tim and Kyle met on the tennis team at Arrowhead High School. They formed a bond on the tennis courts and remained friends as Tim graduated and went to attend college in Madison. Kyle would visit Tim often and got a glimpse of college life, as Kyle was still finishing high school at the time. Even though Kyle went to school at Oshkosh, the two of them remained close friends through the years. Their common love for tennis is something that never diminished. Tim has been the head tennis pro at the Chenequa Country Club for 12 years. Of course Kyle manages to join in on matches every once in a while or play a late night game for fun against Tim any chance they can get. Tim lives in Hartland with his wife Karla and their two sons Noah and Micah, who also happen to be the ring bearers.
Ella Singh

Ashley and Ella met way back when they started 6th grade. Not only was this a new school for Ashley, it was a whole new town and she didn’t know one single person. Looking back, Ella was the best friend Ashley desperately needed and the two quickly became inseparable. They went through everything together and grew up by each other’s sides. Life has taken them along different paths but their friendship has always remained strong and forever will. Ella graduated from UW Madison, got her Masters at MSU and is currently living in Charlotte, NC. She works as a Business Development Manager at Ford Motor Company and is in school for her MBA at Duke University. Ella spends her free time visiting her fiancé Jay in Raleigh, NC and being a dog mom to her fluffy little ball of joy named Duke.
Kyle Griffin

Kyle met his friend who also happens to be named Kyle when they were in college. One went to Oshkosh, the other went to the University of Milwaukee and met through a mutual friend. They became fast friends sharing many similarities, not just their names. They held many common interests, especially their love for sports. Throughout the years following college, they spent countless days on the lake skiing and wakeboarding until the sun went down. Eventually both of them lived in Milwaukee and could always be found together hanging out at the house or out downtown. Kyle (Griffin) soon met the love of his life Selina. Kyle has been very successful as a mutual fund compliance administrator with U.S. Bank for 5 years. He and Selina live in their home in Butler with their two dogs Myles and Lola.
Alivia Cronin

Alivia and Ashley met first in 8th grade at a student council trip. They got to know each other more in high school especially in choir class. As juniors their friendship grew when they both joined concert choir and also happened to date two boys who were best friends. Needless to say those relationships didn't last, however Alivia and Ashley's friendship only became stronger. They attended Marquette as college freshman together and were inseparable throughout those 4 years in Milwaukee. They've been through it all together: trials, triumphs, laughter, and heartbreak. Life would be so dull without Alivia in it. Alivia works as a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator for Findorff and recently got married to her hubby John. The two live in Madison with their sweet dog Gus.
Ehsan Saleki

Kyle and Ehsan met through mutual friends just out of college. No two people could’ve come from more different backgrounds, let alone different parts of the earth, regardless the two of them became the best of friends and remain so to this day. Kyle always thought Ehsan was “the bomb” and has since trusted him to be his dentist, his family and friends’ dentist (seriously if you need a dentist, call this guy) and his very own personal pilot. These two have gone on countless trips across the country together. From gambling on the Las Vegas strip, to camping in Lake Tahoe, to hitting the slopes in Vail, to ending their nights at Joe Cats on Brady. Kyle has had some of the greatest times of his life with Ehsan. Ehsan enjoys life in Milwaukee and just closed on his second dental practice.
Sarah Rivera

Ashley was one of the first people Sarah met when she moved to Hartford and toured Central Middle School. Sarah is Ashley’s polar opposite but somehow the two immediately clicked back in 7th grade. Sarah is loud, outgoing, and has always walked on the wild side. If you know Ashley, this is not her even a little bit. They got into quite a bit of trouble together as young teens. Life took them in different directions a few times throughout high school and college, but they always found their way back to each other without skipping a beat. Like Ashley, Sarah went to nursing school eventually and became an RN. She currently works at Waukesha Memorial Hospital specializing in cardiac nursing. Sarah is married to Damian (groomsman) and they have a beautiful daughter, Sophia, the flower girl!
Damian Rivera
Groomsman
Damian and Kyle have grown to be great friends over the last couple of years. Damian is married to Ashley's friend Sarah as you could guess, which means that Kyle and Damian have spent quite a bit of time together. Damian has developed a love for golf in the past few years so needless to say the two of them have that in common. Kyle has enjoyed mentoring Damian and helping him improve his golf game. Meanwhile Damian has shed some light on the ins and outs of being a great father. The two of them also have the most important quality in common which needs mentioning: they both really love nurses. Kyle stood up as a groomsman for Damian, and it was a no brainer for Kyle to ask Damian to stand up in his wedding as well.
Natalie Lange

Natalie is married to Ashley’s brother Adam. Ashley met Natalie back when Natalie was still a little 8th grader and visited the high school for choir (before Adam even had laid eyes on her). Ashley knew who she was since she was friends with Natalie’s brother. She always thought she was sweet, cute, and a talented singer. A few short years later, Adam and Natalie started dating and Natalie was immediately like another sister to Ashley. They’ve shared many memories on camping trips, family vacations, shopping sprees, and nights out on the town. Natalie lives in Jackson with Adam and their dog Basil. She works as a beloved music teacher at McLane Elementary school. Ashley has always admired Natalie for many reasons and is so thankful to have her in her life and be a part of her wedding day.
Adam Lange

Adam is Ashley's younger brother. He and Kyle met when Ashley brought Kyle home to meet the family for the first time. Although Adam was more reserved than Kyle, the two hit it off pretty quick especially over their love for sports. Adam was in college at the time they met so Kyle hired him as a summer intern for Monster two years in a row. This provided the perfect opportunity for them to grow their friendship and get to know each other better. Ultimately Adam chose a different career path following graduation, but gained valuable experience with Monster and lasting memories with his future brother-in law. Nowadays the two enjoy each other's company by playing a round of golf or sipping on some good whiskey. Adam currently works as an accountant and lives with his wife Natalie in Jackson.
Jenna McConnell

Jenna is Kyle's older sister. Being only two years apart, they acted like any siblings do throughout their childhood. They fought and irritated each other to no end, but they did share many similar interests. They both played tennis throughout high school and even into college. Jenna was a valuable member of the varsity girls tennis team during high school and went to UWM on a full ride tennis scholarship. From there she went to Marquette University for law school. Jenna now lives in Dallas, TX and is working there as an immigration lawyer.
Lance Alberti

Lance is one of Kyle's oldest friends. They became best friends way back in Kindergarten and remained close all through high school. The two of them have proven to have contrasting interests in life, but they have always shared a common ground and similar core values. Being friends for so long, they both consider each other family. No matter what the occasion, like Christmas Eve for example, if Lance is in town he’s welcome at the McConnell residence without question. Even though Lance and Kyle live across the country from one another, anytime they talk on the phone or hangout it’s as if no time has passed and they pick up right where they left off. Lance is living out in San Francisco and works as an elementary school teacher.
Melanie Gerrits

Mel and Ashley met back in the beginning of high school. Ashley always knew Mel was a great friend to have and keep close. Mel has always been a kind soul and true to herself. The two of them sort of look alike and have actually been mistaken for one another on many accounts. They even got asked if they were sisters a few times. Mel is a big part of Ashley’s life and wouldn’t have made it through high school without her. They both share a love for country music and concerts, being on the lake, and spending time outdoors. Mel had the time of her life at UW Madison for college. She then spent a year in Cleveland, OH working for the Browns. Currently she lives in Denver, CO working as a consultant for NetSuite. She lives with her boyfriend Jeff and their new adorable puppy Cooper!
Arik Lange

Arik is the youngest of the Lange siblings. When Kyle first met him Arik was just 13 years old. He was goofy, outgoing, and immediately wanted to be Kyle's friend. Kyle never had a younger brother, let alone a younger sibling, so he openly welcomed Arik into his life and took him under his wing. Kyle has always been a jokester and had a lighthearted personality so the two of them always got along very well. Kyle gave Arik a few driving lessons in the pickup and he even stood in on parents night when Arik was a senior on the Varsity soccer team, since Ashley and Arik's mom was out of town. Arik is currently working as a bartender and attending college in the area. He has grown up a lot since Kyle first met him but Kyle will always watch out for him and care for him like a little brother.
Jenny Volz

Jenny and Ashley met back when they first started high school. They were friends with a lot of the same people and realized quickly that they had a lot in common. They went through many of life's big moments throughout those 4 years together. From boy drama to Prom to graduation and on, they were by each other's side. The two of them share a love for music and concerts, as displayed during the summer before college started when they went to Summerfest 4 days in a row. Jenny attended LaCrosse for college and Ashley made sure to visit from time to time. For the past 5 years Jenny worked in medical sales and lived in Michigan with her boyfriend Dave. Jenny and Dave are currently taking the better part of the year road tripping all over the country camping, hiking, and exploring the sites.
Owen Mislang

Owen is a longtime friend of the Lange family, growing up with Ashley’s younger brother Adam. During the summer prior to Owen’s last year of college, he worked as Kyle’s intern with Monster Energy. Owen showed promise with the company and landed a job with them as a FSR after graduation. Since then, Kyle and Owen have continued to work closely together and grow their friendship. Kyle has shown Owen the ropes with Monster and mentored him along the way. Despite their age gap, the two of them proved to have a lot in common outside of work as well. They both love to spend days boating on the lake, watching sports, and playing a round of golf. Kyle aka dad couldn’t be more proud of him. Owen just recently bought his first home in Jackson and lives there with his girlfriend Korissa.
