We are getting married!

We swiped right. After talking for a couple weeks, Jerod drove to Milwaukee to meet Ashley for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We spent the afternoon talking and exploring Milwaukee together and knew this was something special.

Jerod had to do some convincing, but Ashley finally agreed to go downtown for lunch one Friday afternoon at Broken Bat. After lunch we went for a walk around Milwaukee Public Market and then the Riverwalk. Jerod stopped Ashley outside of Milwaukee Ale House, which was where our first date was and proposed. After that, Jerod surprised Ashley with an engagement party at Cafe Hollander with our family and friends.
