We were on vacation in Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada). We spent the morning hiking a moderate 3 mile trail up to the Lake Agnes Tea House. The views were beautiful and the tea and scones were much deserved! We left there and headed down the mountain to get our last views of Lake Louise. As we wandered around the lakeside we snapped random pics of the scenery. Once we reached a more secluded spot by the lake, Hudson asked my parents to take a picture of us with the lake and mountains behind us. Unbeknownst to me this was "the clue" to my mom that Hudson was going to propose. My mom was at the ready to video when Hudson got down on one knee. Hudson said some thoughtful and heart-felt words but I blacked out. You'd have to ask Hudson for the details. Hudson took both my hands, and barely finished his proposal when I blurted out "YES"!
