Gregory and Ashley grew up 90 minutes away from each other but they met in the Business Office of WCER in Madison, Wisconsin. 1,000 miles away from both of their hometowns, they found their new home in each other. (cringe)

Greg proposed to Ashley on Monona Terrace in Madison, WI on October 16, 2021. After enjoying some margaritas at their favorite Mexican restaurant, they walked to the terrace to enjoy the view of the lake on a warm and sunny fall day. While looking at the water, Greg nervously thanked Ashley for "coming here today". Ashley replied "ummm... yeah I mean we came here together". Then he reached into his pocket and asked "Want to see this trinket I got?" while he pulled out the ring. Ashley cried all of her makeup off and then forced Greg to get down on one knee before taking the ring. We are not sure if she actually said "Yes".
