What is the dress code?
Answer
We request that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie or slacks with a dress shirt for men. Please note the venue does not permit hats, jeans or sneakers.

Will the events of the day be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be indoors at the Carriage House. The cocktail hour will be held under a covered patio and outdoors (weather permitting).

What type of weather can we expect mid June in Wisconsin?
Answer
Average temperatures fall between 56 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit with an average rainfall of eight days.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
To ensure you have plenty of time to get seated please arrive no later than 2:30 pm.

Is there parking available at The Carriage House?
Answer
Yes, The Carriage House is on a golf course and there is ample parking available. Cars may be left overnight if a taxi service is needed, but must be removed by the morning of June 17th.

What type of food and drink will be served?
Answer
We will be serving hors d'oeuvres with open bar during the cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony. The reception will begin at 6:00 pm with a sit down dinner and dessert to follow. Wine and beer are available for our guests all night.

Unless specified on the invitation, due to space constraints we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

Are hotel blocks available?
Answer
There are two hotel blocks available: The Delafield Hotel 415 Genesee Street Delafield, WI 53018 (12 miles from The Carriage House) The Holiday Inn Express Delafield 3030 Golf Road Delafield, WI 53018 (14 miles from The Carriage House) Mention Wachal/Spade Wedding when booking to book within the room blocks. The room blocks are only available 30 days prior to the event, so if you would like to book within the block do so by May 16th, 2023. Nearby alternative options are as follows.
