Julia and Ashley met while in Virginia for training. They moved in together as a last minute choice and haven't looked back since. "Dump run dates," hours of cribbage while snowed in, and learning to maneuver "adult life" together. Julia has been the friend Ashley confides in the most and been her rock since becoming friends. It comes as no surprise that Julia was asked to be in Ashley's wedding.
Jessie

Another friend Ashley met at the shipyard is Jessie. Dandelion picking, a love for escape rooms, and talking for hours. She is always willing to help and was an excellent support system for Ashley while they were in Japan. Jessie couldn't get married without Ashley and now Ashley can't get married without Jessie.
Caitlyn
Bridesmaid
As Ashley's longest friend, it's safe to say Caitlyn and Ashley have been through a lot. Watermelon freezes from Dairy Queen after Saturday swim lessons to supporting each other through major break ups to last minute trips out of state. Even though they're long distance friends, that promise of being there for each other hasn't waivered.
Steve
Bridesman
Steve is a great comic relief for Ashley. They met at work while Steve was on shore duty. Spades partners, "lunging" proposals, and a shared love of a good party theme. Steve manages to improve Ashley's mood every time so naturally he'd partake in her wedding.
Taylor
Groomsman
Damien and Taylor met at Northern Michigan University. Both ended up in the PNW within a few years of graduating.
Conor
Groomsman
Conor and Damien also met at NMU. Despite Conor staying in Michigan, they've remained close.
Andy
Groomsman
Andy and Damien met after college. Nuff said.
Tony
Groomsman
Tony and Damien met after college. He's been up to visit Damien but always when Ashley is out of town. Coincidence??
