We first met when Austin saw me walking to the buses at our career and technical school and had to find out who I was. He searched on Instagram until he found me and sent a direct message. Since that day he saw me jumping around while walking to the buses, he has called me his "jumping bean."

Austin, with the help of my family, planned an outing to the Memphis Botanical Gardens for "family pictures." He proposed in the pavilion first with a ring pop like he always joked he was going to do. I said "yes" to the ring pop and the diamond ring that he pulled out shortly after!
