How do I get to the Adler Planetarium?

Driving: The address is 1300 S. DuSable Lake Shore Dr. Chicago, IL 60605. By Bus #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express/Museum Campus By Train Roosevelt CTA stop servicing Red, Orange and Green lines. Offers connections to #146 bus located at State and Roosevelt Road. Shuttle: Shuttle from the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel to the Adler Planetarium will be available at 5:45 pm on 03/18/2023.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking is located next to the Adler Planetarium and the evening Rate (after 4:00PM): $40.00 for 12 hours or less. Accessible Parking: There are several reserved accessible parking spaces in the Adler Planetarium lot close to the accessible entrance.

Do you have a preferred hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have rooms blocked off at the Hyatt Regency Chicago (151 East Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601). Rooms are $179 a night. Please visit our "Travel" page for more information.

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within sizing limitations and budget, we can only accommodate those who are listed on your specific invitation. Thanks for understanding!

Not this time. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We are asking guests NOT to take pictures during the ceremony. Please keep your cellphones, cameras, sketch books away during this portion of the wedding. You are permitted and encouraged to take photos at any other point during the night. Feel free to use the hashtag #ashanddrewsayido in your captions for accessibility.

The entire planetarium will be accessible during the wedding! Explore the exhibits and learn about the solar system. We have wheel chairs rented as well for those who need them.
