The Wedding of

There is two sides to every story...Even a love story <3 Ashley's version: We first met at trusty old Food Lion (grocery store). We worked together for quite a while and one day when I was newly single, a co-worker (shout out to Linda) told me to text Amar that some TV show they were talking about, about mermaids (who knows why), was on. I texted him and we started talking from then on. O' as far as the baindaid is concerned, that is Amar's side. Amar's version: Bandaids, the moment I knew I liked her was a seemingly normal day at work when suddenly a very painful yet somehow small cut welcomed itself to my finger. When I went up to the office to ask if we had any bandaids, in true teacher fashion Ashley got one for me and put it on, that is my moment I knew. We soon bonded over our love of God, the beach, Dane Cook, dogs, and Mexican food.

We were celebrating our anniversary about two months late. We planned on going to dinner, but on the way there Amar faked a "someone's car needs a jump" phone call at the lake, where it just so happens to be that is where one of our first dates were. When we got there he said we were no longer needed but since we are here why don't we just stay. This was labor day weekend however and it was very crowded so we left, got take out, and dressed up our balcony all cute to eat outside. After dinner he said he wanted to go on a walk with our dog, which we did about every weekend, to a little green house in our neighborhood we dream of buying one day. When we walked passed the house he got down on one knee and said "I can't buy you the house just yet, but I can get you this (presents the ring). Will you marry me?" He asked and I said ..Yes!
