We shared a class every day of the week when Micaiah first got to St. Marys. I was a sophomore, and he was a freshman, both seeking Biology degrees. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we shared a chemistry class. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we had a Theology course together. We remained good friends and started studying together and getting lunch together. It was helpful to have so many mutual friends; it kept us focusing on serving those around us, which inevitably brought us closer together. We both have a passion for helping people and found that we could have a more significant impact together than apart. After a lot of prayer and months of getting our hearts ready, we started dating. With support from our family, friends, and spiritual leaders, we fostered a healthy relationship that would allow for a healthy marriage. The classes we first took together, ironically enough, reflect the journey we have had together. The chemistry we shared as friends grew through our love for Christ and growing in him daily.
