When can we expect the formal invite?

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
While we would love to welcome everyone and anyone to our pā'ina (party), we kindly ask you to refer to your invitation for the number of seats we are reserving for you.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
We love all keiki, but this will be an adult only party (except for immediate family). Please pre-arrange child care before our event, and enjoy the night off!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly ask that you wear your best aloha attire, or dressy casual. We want you to look your best while feeling comfortable!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will be having a few drink options, as well as a couple non-alcoholic beverage options. There will be a bartender, so please bring a valid ID, and plan ahead for a designated driver. This is not a BYOB event, Mahalo!

Where is the wedding reception located?
Answer
Kāko'o 'Ōiwi 46-406 Kamehameha Hwy. Kāne'ohe, HI 96744 Kāko'o 'Ōiwi is a lo'i, or taro farm, located right in between Heʻeia fish pond and He'eia state park. If driving north east towards Kahalu'u, the farm entrance will be on your left before the bridge. If traveling south east towards windward mall, the farm entrance will be on your right, after the bridge. Please be mindful of where you park, and follow all directions. We kindly ask that you are respectful while at the farm. Please be mindful of your trash, and behavior.

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
As always, the windward side has a chance of rain or shine. Our venue is prepared with a covered lanai, and is handicap accessible.

Are you doing a gift registry?
Answer
No, we are not. The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will greatly accept a monetary contribution towards our honeymoon.
