As most of you already know- Ashish and Sandhya are 2 social birds! With that being said it was crazy how we had never met each other until one day we crossed paths in Fall of 2016 at a Falcons tailgate. This is where it all began where we were introduced in passing through mutual friends. As time flew by... Her Version: One Saturday night, my friend was visiting from out of town and we decided to go out for some drinks. While I was waiting for my Uber, Ashish approached me and introduced himself- "Hey, I'm Ashish. I've met you at the tailgates before and wanted to say hey". I told him I was getting ready to leave to meet some work friends and casually invited him to join us. Of course he had to go get approval from his boys to make sure it was ok. He finally decided to join us. After one wild night of dancing and laughter, we continued our phone conversations and went on many dates. Till this day, we continue to enjoy something that we both love....Falcons Tailgates! His Version: Let's be honest! Here is the real version. One Saturday night, we went out to a house party for a friends birthday. As usual, one shot led to another which led to us deciding to go out. But there is always one problem! How do I get into a club with a XXXL Black T-Shirt , Jeans and White Tennis shoes? Luckily, the club we went to plays Hip-Hop and I fit right in! While at the bar, I saw Sandhya and realized I knew her from the Falcons tailgate. I walked up to her and introduced myself, like a true gentleman, and she fell in LOVE!!! She dragged me into her Uber, with her friends, and we enjoyed the night dancing and laughing. That same night we had our first date at Waffle House and talked the whole night. That's my story and I'm sticking too it!
Ashish planned the perfect proposal! It was Thanksgiving Day and we had planned to go to his sister's house for a wonderful dinner. Both of our families and friends were all having a fun time. Prior to eating dinner, we all wrapped around the island into a circle and took turns saying what we were thankful for. Ashish somehow managed to plan out where I would go right after him. (Of course by doing this, he knew that I would be so focused on my turn being next and not pay attention to him or what he was saying). During his turn, he talked about all of the things he was thankful for and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! For everyone that knows me, I am the hardest person to surprise but he did it! He somehow managed to get all of our families and friends together and plan the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal!
