In 2018, Logan and Hailey first laid eyes on each other at the Infamous JJ's Bar and Grill in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was sitting at a high-top table with her girlfriends when Logan walked up and talked to everyone, but he didn't say hi to Hailey. "He's cute, but he's shy" Hailey thought. But after a little liquid courage, and at the rooftop of West End, Logan finally made his move. It was there that they found out that they would both be spending both of their spring break trips in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Instead of spending his last spring break trip with his friends, Logan ended up staying the majority of his trip at Hailey's resort and the rest is history...
Logan was very nervous. Reason being was because Hailey is very nosey. Could Logan pull off an engagement that would be a total surprise? Let’s find out…. Logan first asked Hailey’s parents for permission to marry their daughter, to which of course they said yes. Next came the planning; Restaurant: Booked, Venue: Picked out, Parents invited: Check, Photographer: Booked, Ring: In pocket, Weather: Not great, Blanket and Champagne: Set up, Friends & Family: Notified. The fun thing about this weekend was the fact that a very large portion of Hailey’s extended family were already in town. All Logan had to do was convince Hailey to say “Yes” at the proposal and everyone could be apart of this special day. Prior to the engagement, both sets of parents and the kids attended Grand Street Cafe on the Plaza where Logan just about lost his lunch. The pouring rain and the nerves were getting to this poor guy. Post lunch, we convinced Hailey to take family photos outside The Nelson Atkins Museum (which was a task in itself), and as we were walking up to our spot, cameras came out and Logan went down on one knee. There wasn’t a dry eye in site, mostly because of the rain (lol), but nonetheless, it was a very beautiful moment. Logan and Hailey were in the company of some of their best friends. Later that day, friends and family attended the Kansas City Royals baseball game, which ended with a Jake Owen Concert and fireworks. It really was a special day! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in KC! :)
