Wedding Party

Meet the friends we call family that will celebrate our walk down the aisle!

Ashley Nicole Gillespie

Bride

My one true companion in this adventure known as life who just wandered into my life one eventful day. Ever since I couldn't imagine ever being with another person.

Michael Clark Wheat

Groom

A hard-working, selfless, not short on genius of a man that makes everyday special. Even when Ashley manages to push buttons he didn't even know he had he is patient and kind with her. His jokes are either met with groans or an uncontrollable fit of laughter. He is adored more than he knows and loved even moreso.

Darrin Almond

Man of Honor

Ashley and Darrin didn't start as best friends, they didn't even really start as friends, but the two became inseparable. You rarely saw one without the other by the time their senior year of high school came around.

Kristin Still

Best Woman

Kristin and Clark have been friends since Clark and his family moved to North Carolina back in 2012. She's a kind and caring person who was always available to talk to you if you needed her. On top of that, she was never shy of calling someone on their shit.

Aleah Gillespie

Bridesmaid

Growing up these two didn't always see eye-to-eye and would fight often. Now they can't imagine life without the other. They call each other several times a week and talk for hours. A true A1 Day 1

Logan

Groomsman

Quite possibly my oldest friend. We've been friends for the vast majority of our lives. Toddlers on a mission of destruction. The only person I've ever met that can run barefoot across hot Nevada asphalt.

Taylor Shaw

Bridesmaid

One of Ashley's oldest friendship Taylor and Ashley spent much of their time cracking jokes with each other, complaining, and looking forward to what the future held. Ashley looks back on their senior lunch shenanigans with great fondness.

Cody

Groomsman

One of my oldest friends. We've been through thick and thin and always managed to come out the other side. Years have been able to pass, but each time we are able to talk we can pick up right where we left off like nothing has happened.

Savannah Trout

Bridesmaid

Another one of Ashley's oldest friends Savannah was always kind and genuine. But don't let her sweet smile fool you, she is definitely the life of any party.

Dylan

Groomsman

The brother to Cody, who I've known just as long. It's almost impossible to recount the many almost sleepless nights we've had over the years playing whatever video game was popular at that time.

Betty Gillespie

Mother of the Bride

A headstrong, determined, and intelligent woman that instilled those same characteristics into her daughters. Some say that she has a bit of a flair for the dramatics . . . okay, maybe a lot more than a bit.

Carol Ann Wheat

Mother of the Groom

A spiritual and Godly woman that has a home full of love and laughter. She raised a son that would respect, honor, and cherish his future wife. Don't be deceived by her small stature, she is a firecracker.

Francis Gillespie

Father of the Bride

From banged up knees (and the occasional shoulder), to boys up to no good; Papa G was there. He always made sure that Ashley knew how to be independent and an outside the box thinker.

Michael Wheat

Father of the Groom

A hard-working, kind, and gentle soul that worked to make sure his son was instilled with those same core traits. He is a God fearing man that loves and honors his family.

Bruce and Robin Franklin

Honor Attendants

Mighty people of God that love spreading the word of God!
