In 2020 Artemias moved to Dallas and started his search to buy a home. A friend referred him to another good friend who was a realtor to assist. One day while out looking for homes, Art's Realtor invited him to a fish fry their mutual friend was throwing for Corey's birthday. He showed up, and neither had an instant connection when they were introduced. Corey invited him to his home for another gathering the next night, and Art showed up. They had a shot and conversation but still no connection. Next, our mutual friend invited us on a trip to Chicago, and while interacting at brunch in their friend Steve's home, Corey and Art began a conversation regarding the home-buying process. From there, the connection started. They hooked up in Chicago and went on their first official date the following week after returning to Dallas. During this date, Corey wanted to make it official; however, Art wanted to wait. Corey then said, "You have two weeks to drop your hoes," but two days later, on October 30, 2020, they made it official, and the Art of Love began. After almost two years of dating, Corey asked Art to marry him on August 25, 2022, to which he said YES followed by a celebration with family and friends. Then on October 30, 2022, Art also proposed to Corey, and his answer was YES!!!!!
