The wedding of

After seeing Nicole on a friend's "Snapchat story", Michael made many failed attempts at luring Nicole out on a date. As Michael was just about to give up all hope, he found himself having to evacuate during 2019's Kincade Fire and ended up at the same "Public Safety Power Shutoff" party that Nicole was attending. As they drank and played card games in the dark, Nicole couldn't help but swoon over Michael's charm and humor (and mustache). Michael officially asked Nicole to be his girlfriend not too long after under the romantic glows of the television sets at the Kozy Kar. It was love at first evacuation.

After 11 months of holding onto a ring, Michael finally made the plunge and gathered all of their immediate family for a very inconspicuous BBQ. Nicole had *no idea* what was about to transpire. Through the courage of three white claws and a very shaky voice, Michael asked Nicole to spend the rest of her life with him. (She said yes).
