The days before the couple met, Alicia was a free-spirit (& still is) on a 6-week backpacking trip with her dear friend exploring all over Europe. On the other side of the world, Aron spent his days throwing weights around when a school book wasn’t in his face. One night in Mykonos, Aron checked in with their mutual friend over FaceTime and once Alicia saw how handsome this guy was, she instantly wanted to get to know him more. After nights and nights of giggling between the three of them over the phone, Aron found a smart way of messaging her directly. He didn’t believe Alicia got pooped on while riding donkeys down the hillside of Mykonos and asked her for a picture… This is when it all began... Notwithstanding the stink, the story of Alicia and Aron grew as the two spoke more and more near the end of her trip. On August 21, 2015 (just two days after she returned home) they met for the very first time over tacos and margaritas and have been together ever since.

The two have grown closer together over a shared affection for exploring the world. Their love for traveling together began with a surprise trip to Mexico to celebrate Aron graduating from ASU with his Master's Degree. Since then, they’ve shared pasta all over Italy, ate wagyu beef in Japan, shouted off a double-decker bus in London, watched the Eiffel Tower light up, drank sangria in Barcelona, and vacationed all around the country. In between their travels, the two have cultivated love and confidence in each other while inspiring one another to achieve new heights. They’ve witnessed each other grow and have shared so much success individually in their careers and together. They could not be any more proud to see each other's accomplishments in just 5 short years!

Aron, Alicia, and their wonderful friends planned a quick trip to LA to take a vacation from a jam-packed month. Alicia was told we were heading to Pacific Palisades to grab a quick drink but had some extra time to wander and was sent into the Chanel store while the boys walked around. Little did she know, Aron had made prior arrangements for her to get a makeover while he prepped. A bit later, a box was delivered to Alicia with a single red rose telling her to meet Aron on the balcony. She was led to a path of rose petals followed by a candlelit balcony where Aron asked to spend forever together (and a bunch more words they don’t remember). After she gladly accepted, she turned around to find her father, stepmother, and baby sister who witnessed the incredible moment. Alicia and Aron have accomplished so much together as a couple but their biggest accomplishment will be sharing their vows beside their family and closest friends to celebrate their love and future as one.
