Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are fortunate to already have all the essentials for our home, so we are not doing a traditional gift registry. We are planning to go on a honeymoon in Asia in December. If you would like to contribute, links are available in the "Registry" section but please do not feel obliged. Note that there are two honeymoon funds shown - one that accepts Venmo and one that accepts credit cards.

What is the dress code?

We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with you! If possible, we suggest wearing summer semi-formal attire in light earth tones. We recommend not wearing skinny heels. * The ceremony and reception will be outdoors and surrounded by redwoods so we recommend bringing a layer. Weather in the Santa Cruz Mountains can be significantly cooler than in the San Jose area.

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

What's the weather like?

Answer

The average high temperature in Aptos in June is in the mid-70s and the average low is in the mid 50s. We strongly recommend you check the weather in Aptos prior to the event, but note that it may be slightly colder at the venue given that it is very shaded in places. We recommend you bring an extra layer just in case.

Is there cell reception at the venue?

Answer

There is no cell reception at Sparrow Valley Retreat or for the last few miles of the drive. However, there is Starlink WiFi available at the venue. The details will be available at the welcome table.
