Gilbert, when your mom and I got together I think you were twelve, Logan was seven, Jordy was two. Just like any family we had ups and downs, way more ups than downs though! I loved how you would always come to us for advice and then weigh all of your options and find you own way. It makes me laugh all the time because I wouldn’t agree or tell you I don’t think that’s gonna work and then you would prove me wrong. I learned so much from being a dad there is always more than one way to do things. You know sometimes you think you’re the one teaching and you end up becoming the student. I am so proud of the man you have become and the things you have accomplished in your life. As parents we try to show you guys the right ways in life, and we know that you will make good decisions and bad ones, we just hope the good out weighs the bad. I am proud to call you son and can’t wait to see the rest of your life unfold. I know that you have found a wonderful woman to call your wife in Ariyana and I wish you both a blessed and happy marriage. Can’t wait for the grandkids!

My precious son Gilbert, there are so many emotions that fill my heart today... the JOY I have as I remember the day I first heard your heartbeat through the ultrasound, I immediately fell in love with you and then the day came when you were born and I just knew I was given the greatest gift from God; You were my first love and you will always be my baby boy; PRIDE when i think of the man you have become and all the accomplishments you have achieved at such a young age. But the proudest moment for me is telling others that you are my son; HAPPINESS knowing that you have found true love as you and Ariyana become husband & wife; I could not be happier to officially welcome her to our family today; PEACE knowing that you now have Ariyana to share the good and bad times with as you both walk through this life; I thank God that He gave her to you. He’s not just my brother; he’s my closest confidant, and I’m so grateful to have him in my life.

I knew Ari basically my whole life but apparently her first memory was when we were at her grandparents house and she wouldn’t share her kitchen set (she was an only child at the time obviously) besides that core memory We spent every summer together with our mall adventures, playing mermaids in the pool and every summer we grew closer. We have been talking about this day since forever quite honestly we all knew she be the first to get married due to her sweetheart, and bubbly personality plus her cooking skills !!! It's been such a joy to be a part of your wedding party, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything you have done for me and everyone around you. I am so happy for you and to see your next chapter in life aka ready for my “tt baby”lol

I have known Ari pretty much my whole life, she is literally the light of everyone’s life and one of my favorite memories of us is when I would go visit her mom’s house and we would stand on her pool table and have our own little karaoke party’s, going swimming and pretending that we were mermaids, and over all just spending ever summer with her. And now She is entering a new chapter in her life and I’m so grateful that I get to be apart of it and experience it with her, she has the most amazing personality that I’ve ever seen in a person,and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and Gilbert. My sweet Ariyana Galvan #MiniMe December 1999, I called crying to my dad because I found out I was pregnant with her. Me being so young thinking I had life all figured out, but deep inside I was so scared to become someone’s mother. August 22,2000 three weeks before my due date Dr. Virginia Nizbit helped welcome my first baby girl (you🤗❤️) From the moment Alex and I locked eyes on her, all my fears were gone. Ariyana has lived her younger years growing up with me while I was co parenting her with her dad, up until she permanently moved with him during elementary because it was what was best for her during those times. I used to cry because I felt that was the biggest mistake I could have made letting my daughter be raised with her dad and how I use to think that her love for me wouldn’t be the love most kids have with their parents when living in the same household, but that worry was definitely gone. I’m so blessed and thankful to have her as my daughter. Shes the most loving, caring and supportive human being a person could meet and without being where she is today, my son-in-law Gilbert wouldn’t have such a beautiful bride on his arms. Alex did a fantastic job with my baby and I’m so thankful Missy later became an addition to be a bonus mom. Ariyana, you are my best friend, my rib, my everything. Mama bear would travel to the end of the world for and with you every single time I love you
