George and Arin met through the dating app Hinge, "The app designed to be deleted." It all started when George was browsing local girls through hinge and noticed a girl holding a spinning reel (correctly). He liked the photo in hopes of a response. After Arin received the notification she looked at his profile. One of the prompts wrote: Qualities I'm looking for in a plus-one wedding date, George's answer "Confidence in your poor dance moves and being able to shotgun cheap beer." Arin's thinking she has this one in the bag and she thinks he's extremely handsome. Arin notices some mention of a boat on his page... no wonder he liked the fishing picture! Arin played it cool and invited George to drinks at a local bar called Random Tap in Elgin, SC. Arin arrived first and was ordering drinks when George peaked through the window before entering. George will tell you it was love at first sight! The couple enjoyed drinks and one of our Bridesmaids, Kayla, joined us. Arin loved that he was willing to watch the Bachelor with her and Kayla following the date at Random Tap. After watching rose after rose get handed out that night, Arin had no idea that she too would get her rose and a Neil Lane engagement ring!

George asked Arin to marry him on the front porch of their new home in Elgin, SC. The whole gang was home and Arin was making dinner for the kids while they ran around the house entertaining the dogs. It was a beautiful night. It felt celebratory with the laughter of children and the smell of spaghetti on the stove. George told Arin there was a package for her on the front porch, but when she opened the door all she saw was her fishing pole. Nervous but excited, she reeled in the line to find a Jared bag filled with rocks! Crew was super excited about the rocks and took off with the Jared bag! Arin turned around and George was down on one knee, holding a box open with the most beautiful engagement ring she's ever seen! George asked, "Will you be my fishing partner for life?" Arin said through a huge smile. "YES!"
