Thor and I both ran cross country and track in Highschool, however, it wasn't until my junior year and Thor's sophomore year that I actually noticed him. There was a team Christmas party and I debated going but I am so glad I did. Thor was down the hall in another room and I was in the hallway with my friends watching everyone hang out through the doorway. All of a sudden, I got tunnel vision and Thor was the only person I could see. I instantly thought "Wow he is cute and I think I'm going to marry him". I started telling my friends that I was going to marry Thor one day and they all thought I was crazy. The only problem was we never really had a conversation and I didn't have his number. I ended up getting his Snapchat that night and we couldn't stop talking from that moment. However, because Thor was only 15 and I was 16, we didn't go on our first date till he got his license. In the meantime, I would take Thor to Sunday Mass with me and the youth group. One day we were talking about our faith and we both came to a realization that we used to say the same prayer to God. We both were wanting someone to push us in our faith. I truly believe that God put each others into one another's lives to push each other in our relationship with God. God has blessed us with such an amazing relationship and I couldn't have asked for a better man to do life with.
Ariel and I first met at a cross-country Christmas party on December 17th, 2016. She came up to me and said hello, we exchanged some small talk, and I guess we talked the rest of the night (I don't remember that part). But Ariel somehow got my Snapchat and then we started talking. We talked for a while one day I was forced out the door by my sister (thanks Syd) to go ask Ariel to prom. I was nervous, Ariel hid inside, but eventually, her sister pushed her out the front door (thanks Alli). She said yes and a week later we went on our first date and I asked her out officially. From that point on I've never doubted whether I wanted to spend my life with her. After six years a lot has changed, but we've been through the ups and downs together. If there is anything that has truly stayed the same it is our commitment to one another which has only grown with time. Ariel is the most amazing person and the way she loves others and truly cares for the wellbeing of her friends and family inspires me every day. She is my best friend, I am so excited to finally be in the same city as her, and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
